There are far more things in life that you don’t know, than you know. If one of those things that you don’t know is the answer to “What is this? Why am I here?”, then allow me briefly to explain. Usually there is an essay here with jokes, metaphors, the odd political topic, and multiple facets of visual imagery. This year we are going straight in.
I have been doing this for 5 years now and we have come a long way. The world has come a long way. Basketball has come a long way. However, to me this is bigger than basketball. Basketball, for me, is a vessel. Now without further ado, thank you, congratulations and welcome to Madness 2025.

If you are short on time or couldn’t be bothered to click a bunch of buttons, there is an autofill button on the bracket that takes the fun out of it, but makes it about 10x faster.
Now, I won’t beg you to join, but if you have been vacillating about the idea to join Madness since its inception and never have, just give it a shot, please. After polling previous winners from the last 4 years, on average they watch less than 3 full regular season college basketball games per year. Based solely on probabilities, it doesn’t actually matter if you have ever watched college basketball, in the grand scheme of things, there are very few things that do matter. But if you want to be a part of what future critics will call the Greatest March Madness Bracket of All Time, look no further.
There were about 100 brackets last year and I would love to eclipse this number at a minimum 1.5-fold. For roughly the price of three (3) Brown Sugar Oat Cortado’s from Starbucks, you can join the Madness. Big bucks, no Whammies. Again, I won’t beg but please, please, please join.
If you found this forthright, perfect, that was my full intention. However, if you want more and this write-up didn’t quite wet your whistle, click the button below. Shout out to my fellow Poles.
