2026, the year of purpose. Not to be confused with 2015, the year of Purpose.

Time is linear and it doesn’t stop. Turning 30 made that feel a little less abstract. It’s always easy to think that there will be more time. More time to start things, more time to figure things out, more time to wait for the right moment. One year becomes five, five becomes ten, and eventually you notice that the distance between where you were and where you are now is massive. Not long after you realize that waiting for the perfect moment is mostly just another way of letting time pass. There are right moments and there are also just moments, but until they’ve already happened, I’m not sure we can actually tell the difference.
